Boudreau Lettered Jacket

Inspired by the logo from my grandfather’s small-town shoe store (aptly named Boudreau Shoes), I decided to handcraft denim jacket patches with our surname for myself and my sisters. Boudreau looks excellent any way you decide to write it, but I opted for an updated version of the original 1970’s sign-painted-style logo. Obvi, since we’re sisters, I decided an alliterative ‘babe’ would pair quite well. After sketching in procreate, I finessed the lettering in Illustrator and then cut the letters out of felt. Finally, I adhered the patches to denim jackets and the result is pretty great, if I do say so myself. Thanks, art degree! The original logo can be found below…and if you’re curious it’s pronounced “bood-row”.
